Trailer: Cryptocurrency scam thriller ‘COLD WALLET’

After losing everything in a cryptocurrency scam, a ragtag team of vigilante Redditors attempt to kidnap the kingpin who screwed them over. But when the home invasion takes a turn for the worst, they become victims in a sadistic game.

  As we can see from ther triler, COLD WALLET (2025), directed by Cutter Hodierne, is an intense thriller set in the world of cryptocurrency. After losing everything in a cryptocurrency scam, a ragtag team of vigilante Redditors tries to kidnap the the “financial influencer” kingpin who ruined their lives. Part of their plan includes returning all the frozen funds to the duped investors, a la “Robin Hood.”  However, when the home invasion takes a turn for the worse, they find themselves victims once more in a sadistic game of cat and mouse.

The film’s title comes from the crypto term “Cold Wallet,” which refers to the process of keeping your private access keys completely isolated from internet-connected devices, and reducing the risk of unauthorized access to your cryptocurrency.

Cold Wallet stars LATIN HORROR favorites Raúl Castillo (Smile 2), and Melonie Díaz (Charmed), as well as Tony Cavalero (The Righteous Gemstones), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), and Zoe Winters (Succession). Releasing in Theaters and Digital February 28, 2025.
