‘The Strangers: Chapter 1’ is the begging of a new horror trilogy helmed by director Renny Harlin (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, The Exorcist: The Beginning). The film is an expansion of the original 2008, Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman driven, ‘The Strangers’. A home invasion movie that is held as a true classic. This time around, ‘The Strangers: Chapter 1’ is lead by Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale) and Froy Gutiérrez (Hocus Pocus 2), who play the titular role of Maya and Ryan. A couple on a road trip that leads them to be pray to the Man in the Mask, Pin-Up Girl and Dollface, a trio of serial killers.
