Buenos Aires— Coco has just moved to a new apartment with his wife Pipi, who’s seven months pregnant. The film hails out of Argentina, a region that has become an active petri dish for Latin horror of late, and is being billed as an "apocalyptic comedy" with strong hints of both Shawn of the Dead and REC, a combination that is sure to please most avid horror fans. Phase was executive produced by Steven Schneider (Insidious, Paranormal Activity), and stars Daniel Hendler (Lost Embrace), Jazmín Stuart (The Paranoids), Yayo Guridi (Los Rodriguez), and Federico Luppi (Cronos, The Devil's Backbone, Pan’s Labyrinth).
Another title that has emerged from the “Night Terrors” series is YellowBrickRoad, which opened theatrically June 1st. Also coming in July from the series is Rammbock – Berlin Undead on the 13th. And look out for Cold Fish in August, and Macabre further down the line. Bloody Disgusting Selects is BD.com's film production & distribution arm. |
