Horror filmmaker, actor, and Latin horror ambassadress GIGI SAUL GUERRERO has launched a new badass comic book, THE MAYAN EMPRESS, whose central figure is a Mayan heroine/warrior!! Created and released through a partnership between Death Punk Comix, Ltd and Luchagore Productions, the series is created and written by Vishal Rajput and Gigi Saul Guerrero, with art by Ashlee Galloway. The likeness of the empress, Lady Six Sky, is based on that of present-day Reina Guerrero herself.
The premise is both simple and high concept so we can imagine a narrative feature down the line: “The Death God, CIZEN has risen from his underworld to reign terror and chaos upon the world. Lady Six Sky is the last of the Mayan empress’s to challenge and fight against CIZEN and win before he turns the world into his own personal hell.”
