A gifted musician (Freya Tingley) inherits a mansion after her long lost father (Rutger Hauer) dies under mysterious circumstances. She discovers his last musical masterpiece riddled with cryptic symbols that unravels an evil secret.

LATIN HORROR The supernatural thriller ‘The Sonata‘ is being release by Screen Media and is directed by Andrew Desmond in his feature debut. Most of the film’s principal photography took place in locations in Latvia. The Sonata hits theaters in the U.S. on January 10, 2020 after several openings in Europe, including Russia and United Arab Emirates.

‘The Sonata’ is one of legendary actor Rutger Hauer’s final onscreen performances before his passing on July 19, 2019 at the age of 75, and is being released posthumously. Peep the trailer below —
