‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ Season Two Trailer Is A Giant Monsters All Out Attack Extravaganza

0

Apple TV and Lionsgate have released the trailer for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season two, and it has us seriously hyped here at Latin Horror.

First, major kudos to the trailer editor for delivering a truly cinematic experience—one that awakened the Godzilla fan in me. After a lukewarm first season that leaned more toward lows than highs, I honestly questioned whether I’d return for a second outing. Much of that hesitation came from a main cast I struggled to connect with, which ultimately dulled the overall impact.

“To destroy a monster takes another monster. We need Kong and Godzilla.”

Thankfully, the season two trailer changes everything. The scope feels larger, the world more expansive, and the stage finally set for the kind of giant-monster mayhem fans have been craving. It looks as if Lionsgate went all in, pouring their budget into an extravagant kaiju-filled adventure packed with chaos, massive battles, and stakes that put human life squarely in danger. Cities will fall—and we’re here for it.

Adding to the excitement, Kong officially joins the cast, introducing a new humanist dynamic that will feel familiar to fans of the film franchise. And with Godzilla and Kong sharing the screen, a new threat was inevitable. Enter Titan X—a massive, vicious, tentacled monster that resembles a terrifying fusion of the Kraken and Otachi from Pacific Rim (2013). This kaiju looks incredible, and yes, I already want the action figure. Bandai and Playmates, are you listening?

So prepare to resubscribe to Apple TV, because Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season two premieres February 27, 2026. Check out the trailer below and brace yourself for what looks to be a monster-sized upgrade.
