Focus Features is ready for Halloween!!! ‘Come Play‘ looks chilling and terrifying as the story revolves around a child that is in the autism spectrum.
The film follows Oliver, young boy with autism. He and his friends, family are haunted down by Larry, a long-limbed monster. It seems Larry is born through a dark children’s book and transcends to “smart phones, computers, television screens and mobile devices“.
THE SYNOPSIS: Newcomer Azhy Robertson stars as Oliver, a lonely young boy who feels different from everyone else. Desperate for a friend, he seeks solace and refuge in his ever-present cell phone and tablet. When a mysterious creature uses Oliver’s devices against him to break into our world, Oliver’s parents (Gillian Jacobs and John Gallagher Jr.) must fight to save their son from the monster beyond the screen. The film is produced by The Picture Company for Amblin Partners.
Come Play is set to be released on October 30, 2020.
