The teaser-trailer for Mike Flanagan’s horror/mystery ‘Midnight Mass’

An isolated island community experiences miraculous events – and frightening omens – after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest.

Netflix has dropped the teaser-trailer for the supernatural horror TV series Midnight Mass, directed by Mike Flanagan (OCULUS, Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep).  Flanagan is also the the show’s creator and wrote the majority of the episodes. The series is scheduled for a September 24, 2021 streaming release. Flanagan, a favorite here at LATIN HORROR—who never disappoints—returns with his next creepy project, a limited series for Netflix.

Midnight Mass tells the tale of a small, isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man (Zach Gilford) and the arrival of a charismatic priest (Hamish Linklater). When Father Paul’s appearance on Crockett Island coincides with
unexplained and seemingly miraculous events, a renewed religious fervor takes hold of the community – but do these miracles come at a price?
