Less than a week before Warner Bros. and Guillermo del Toro are set to pull the curtain aside on the highly anticipated science fiction epic PACIFIC RIM during next week’s San Diego Comic Convention, an exclusive teaser poster has been released to help whet our thirsty beaks just a little bit. How humane.

Working from a screenplay by Travis Beacham, del Toro began principal photography this past November with the film scheduled to hit theaters widely just after the 2013 Fourth of July holiday – on July 12th. Yes, we have to wait a whole year before we can feast our eyes and senses on this del Toro experience.
