LATIN HORROR The new steaming channel that is dedicated to martial arts and Asian action movies in the United States called Hi-YAH!, just release the trailer for Tak Sakaguchi‘s ‘Crazy Samurai: 400 vs. 1‘!!! The original name for the film is ‘Crazy Samurai Musashi‘ and it stars the action movie icon Tak Sakaguchi.

I’m not just a big fan of Tak Sakaguchi but I’ve had a chance to work on several of his titles, his first ‘Tebana Sankichi: Snot Rocket & Super Detective‘, Versus, Alive, and Death Trance. His body of work is remarkable as he has always been “that cool martial arts, action flick hero, anti-hero or bad guy“. The James Dean of action movies. Tak has never been afraid to take risk with his characters that he plays and that is what set him apart from other martial arts actors. Sakaguchi just makes everything look god damn badass!!! And this is why I’m so excited to see ‘Crazy Samurai: 400 vs. 1‘.

Tak Sakaguchi stars as the philosopher Miyamoto Musashi, a real life Japanese’s swordsman that has 60 documented duels where he has gone undefeated. This is the story of his most famous battle. Where Musashi attacks the Yoshioka family in the year 1604. But the Yoshioka family members are a 100 deep with 300 hired samurais. The film is directed by Death Trance’s Yûji Shimomura, so expect this to be jammed packed with nonstop action with great stylish nuance in fight choreography. The press release from Well Go USA Entertainment is hyping this film up as a “marathon battle [that] rivals any ever filmed” because the entire film is a 77-minute action sequence shot in one continuous take. OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!

Crazy Samurai: 400 vs. 1 will stream exclusively at Hi-YAH! on February 12th, 2021. The film will also be available on Digital, Blu-ray™ and DVD March 2nd, 2021.
